Providing a closer look at the future of mobility through the lens of creativity, personalization, and technology, BMW is showcasing its new design installation at 2025 Salone del Mobile. The exhibit, “Vibrant Transition”, is open from April 8 to April 13 inside the Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda, where automobile enthusiasts can explore the spaces showcasing the design of new-age BMW and MINI cars.

The series of thematic rooms highlights how individualization is becoming a key part of automobile design. A newly created cross-brand design team, working in collaboration with BMW’s creative consultancy Designworks, developed this exhibit to showcase how different materials, colors, forms, and digital interfaces can align to shape future products.
The event also focuses on BMW cars, where one of the major attractions is the BMW X3 “Designer’s Choice. This new G45 BMW X3 iteration is unveiled with striking Frozen Tanzanite Blue paint and a deep matte tone that maintains its sporty stance. The luxury BMW vehicle receives large 21-inch 1037 M light alloy wheels in a two-tone star spoke design, one of the biggest wheel sizes offered by the company yet. In night and low-light environments, the car gets an entirely different character because of its illuminated iconic glow kidney grilles, adding an attention-grabbing visual at the front profile.
There is no other unique design in interior elements; it continues to get the same styling and materials as offered in the BMW X3 M50. The new X3 M50 is also powered by a B58 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with mild hybrid technology, producing 393 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque. With such a powerful engine, the vehicle sprints from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and delivers a top speed of 155 mph. BMW has offered an 8-speed automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels using its xDrive system.
The pricing for the 2025 BMW X3 M50 xDrive is kept at $64,700 in the US. However, whether the model will be sold in other markets is unclear.
