Bentley has revealed its first custom Batur Convertible, crafted by Mulliner, the brand's dedicated coachbuilding and special projects division. This one-off model has been carefully designed to maintain its core design principles and incorporate modern innovations. It features an Opalite exterior with Beluga and Mandarin highlights and has been equipped with a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine producing 740 bhp. It's the most powerful version of the unit that Bentley has ever produced and one of the last uses of its iconic W12 engine before it retires.

The model followed the appearance of Mulliner's development prototype, Batur Convertible Car Zero, at the Goodwill Festival of Speed earlier this year. The prototype is also set to appear at Monterey Car Week in the US, which will be finished in dual-tone Vermillion Gloss and Satin color.
Bentley Batur Convertible's exterior features a gloss black racing stripe, bordered by fine Mandarin pinstripes, which runs seamlessly from the front grille to the bonnet and the cockpit airbridge before going to the rear deck. Its stripe is directly painted on the bodywork instead of being applied as a decal. On the rear side, a bespoke embroidery mirrors the stripe patterns on the Tonneau cover. Its matrix grille is finished in gloss Beluga with subtle orange elements, whereas there are five-spoke alloy wheels with some elements of Beluga and Mandarin theme.

Inside the cabin is a one-plus-one configuration, meaning the cabin space is designed to accommodate two occupants comfortably. It uses Beluga black hide and Alcantara with Mandarin contrast stitching and Linen accents for the driver's side. In contrast, the passenger side is finished in Linen hide and Alcantara with Mandarin detailing. This division goes into the luggage area and even has bespoke key cases, with each side specially designed with a matching color theme.

On the front profile and door waistrails, there is a satin black engine-turned finish. In contrast, the centre console is finished in gloss Beluga veneer, and titanium finish is used for gearshift paddles, steering wheel rotary controls, air vent mechanism, and other switchgear. The steering wheel has special elements that combine Beluga and Linen trims with Mandarin cross-stitching and a machined titanium top marker. The luggage area is split into two color-matched sections, each of which is configured to reflect as part of a custom two-piece luggage set.
Bentley's Batur Convertible is the third model built by Mulliner, following the Bacalar barchetta and the Batur coupe. While the number is not confirmed, the Bentley Batur Convertible will be available in very limited numbers, with each customized based on the owner's design preferences.
