Bentley has revealed its latest design innovation, the EXP 15, at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance during Monterey Car Week. While the showcased model is not meant for production, it showcases what the brand's grand tourer of the future will look like. The Bentley EXP 15 has been presented as a striking grand tourer concept, highlighting the brand's evolving design philosophy and offering a glimpse of Bentley's future direction, including its first fully electric car.
The EXP 15 borrows some design elements and ideas from the legendary 1930 Benetely Speed Six Gurney Nutting Sportsman Coupe, popularly known as the Blue Train. Similar to its predecessor, the EXP 15 gets a long, endless bonnet, upright grille, and cabin positioned rearward for more commanding road presence.
Interestingly, the Bentley EXP 15 has a three-seat configuration, designed to enhance passenger luxury while also integrating clever in-cabin storage for hand luggage or cherished pets, blending the brand's commitment to timeless comfort with modern lifestyle fusion.
As part of designing EXP 15, Bentley has introduced five design principles, shaping the future of the company's electrified grand tourers. First is upright elegance that includes a front fender profile, then emphasis on reimagined Bentley's iconic grille framed for the electric era, third is the endless bonnet line for seamless design, and fifth is the prestigious shield that comprises a rear panel design framing the new interpretation of Bentley's iconic Winged B emblem.

Robin Page, Director of Design at Bentley Motors, said that the visitors who came to see the brand's latest electrified innovation include some discerning collectors and enthusiasts worldwide, many of whom already own Bentleys. He also mentioned EXP 15 and stated it was outstanding to see the concept in California sunshine. The feedback received at Pebble Beach will enable Bentley's design team to educate and shape the next generation of electrified grand tourers.
Alongside EXP 15, the original 1930 Speed Six Blue Train Special was also presented, and visitors were allowed to take pictures of both models. After its official debut, the concept was returned to Crewe, where it will be used to design and develop Bentley's new age electrified luxury vehicles.
