Bentley Bentayga Speeds Breaks Goodwood Hillclimb Record

Bentley Bentayga Speed has showcased its capabilities as the most powerful and dynamic SUV produced by a British luxury automobile manufacturer, setting a new record at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Before the opening of the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Bentayga finished the hill run in just 55.8 seconds, becoming Bentley’s fastest ICE-powered SUV to tackle Goodwood hill. The record time beats the W12-powered Bentayga Speed by about a second, reflecting its new and advanced chassis and powertrain’s capability in demanding terrains.

New Bentayga Speed Performance

Bentley has equipped its Bentayga Speed with a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers exceptional drive performance with a power output of 650 PS and 850 Nm of torque, going 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and hitting a top speed of 310 km/h.

The new Bentayga Speed also comes with significant advancements like a tuned SPORT chassis mode, and new ESC Dynamic setting, and the choice between superior road-holding or the ability to slide the car on power. Previous models, Benetely Bentayga Speed V8 S and W12-engine Bentayga Speed, completed 0-100 km/h acceleration speed of 4.4 seconds and 3.9 seconds, respectively.

The new engine is not only more powerful but also provides a more characterful experience. Additionally, the new Bentayga Speed is fitted with a Sport exhaust system that offers a rich, powerful engine note that complements its character of a high-powered V8 and adds to a deeper sense of driver engagement.

For an even more thrilling experience, it has an optional Titanium Akrapovic Exhaust. The luxury SUV also features three driving modes: COMFORT, SPORT, and ENHANCED SPORT mode. Benetley has offered optional carbon ceramic brakes with a selection of ESC Dynamic in Sport mode. The brakes also have a torque vectoring feature that allows sharper run-ins and more power to be put to the road during corner exits. In the ESC Dynamic programming, Bentley has also added the Launch Control function.

Moreover, the new Bentayga Speed comes marted with all-wheel steering, which feels sharper and responsive. In terms of exterior, the Bentley SUV includes dark tint brightware, bright chrome Speed badging on the leading edge of front doors, and 22-inch Speed wheels in dark tint or optional silver trim. There is also a 23-inch Speed wheel, optional, available with the carbon ceramic brakes. The speed wheels are available in grey, satin black, or black and night machined finishes, along with painted brake calipers in seven striking color options.
