Audi officially shut down the production of the A4 sedan and aims to replace this lineup with the new Audi A5 and S5 lineups, featuring sophisticated design, unmatched on-road performance, cutting-edge technology, and luxury amenities.

The upcoming Audi A5 series embodies the evolution of the brand’s iconic A4 models, which have been in sale since 1994. With the induction of the new generation A5 sedan, the German auto giant showcased its renewed dedication to making iconic lineups more refined and powerful to meet the expectations of global customers.
Audi’s official announcement clarifies the upcoming A5 lineup is coupled with potent yet efficient TFSI powertrains. The Audi A5 35 TFSI powertrain variant would produce 150 hp and 280 Nm of peak torque, achieving 100 km/h speed in just 9.8 seconds with a 216 km/h top speed. For customers looking for even more power and sportier edge, the Audi offers the A5 Sedan 40 TFSI model capable of delivering 204 hp and 340 Nm of peak torque, sprinting 0-100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds with a maximum speed of 248 km/h. Both models feature front-wheel drive and a sophisticated 7-speed S tronic transmission, ensuring a refined drive experience and unmatched handling on high-speed drive.

The German automaker has also unveiled the Audi S5 Sedan, specifically designed for car enthusiasts looking for even more power and a thrilling driving experience. A 3.0L V6 TFSI engine can generate 367 hp and 550 Nm of torque to sprint this luxury sedan 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The S5 sedan also gets permanent quattro all-wheel drive, torque vectoring, and adaptive damping sports suspensions for unmatched drive performance.
With a new bold look, the iconic Audi A4 successor measures 4.8 meters in length, 2.0 meters in width, and 1.4 meters in height. Moreover, the signature Singleframe grill and Matrix LED headlights further enhance the aerodynamic efficiency of this luxury sedan. The automaker also offers optional OLED taillights, highlighting the brand’s commitment to adopt innovative lighting technology.

The wheelbase of 2.8 meters is well-balanced and makes the upcoming Audi A5 more practical for cruising city roads and enjoying high speed on desert highways.
The German automaker has offered a larger curved digital display segmented into three key screens. There is an 11.5-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit, while a 14.5-inch MMI touch display to access infotainment and vehicle settings. The front passenger gets an additional 10.9-inch screen with a dynamic privacy model, ensuring the driver doesn’t get distracted when driving the luxury sedan. With spacious legroom and headroom, the brand has also focused on using high-quality material to ensure the most comfort on long-distance journeys.

The Audi A5 has a 445-liter trunk and can be expanded to 1,299 liters with the rear seats folded. Audi car buyers can also find that the Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound system is standard in S5, adding an immersive audio experience that can be further enhanced with optional speaker integrations.
The successor of the Audi A4, the new generation Audi A5 sedan, is currently available for pre-orders, and buyers can expect showroom arrivals near Ramadan 2025. The German auto giant is initially anticipated to introduce its A5 Sedan 35 TFSI, A5 Sedan 40 TFSI, and S5 Sedan V6 TFSI. Customers can also expect an A5 Sedan 45 TFSI quattro and RS 5 performance V6 PHEV in the coming year. The expected ex-showroom price of the Audi A5 in UAE will likely begin with AED 198,300 for A5 35 TFSI while AED 314,100 for S5 models.
