The Charger EV introduces the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, a unique system replicating traditional engine sounds with a 600-watt amplifier.
The 670bhp 'Scat Pack' and 496bhp 'R/T' models feature the new 'STLA Large' chassis with dual 250kW electric modules for enhanced performance.
The Scat Pack includes a "Track Package" with adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, a data logger, and upgraded seats, enabling a 0-60 mph time of 3.3 seconds.
Dodge offers tech and luxury packages for the Charger EV, including the Plus Group with premium trim and the Sun and Sound Package with an Alpine sound system.
Production of the two-door Charger will start soon, with four-door Daytona models launching early next year, followed by a gasoline-powered version in late 2025.
The all-electric Dodge Charger is finally here, and its powerful sound has been revealed. Dodge recently posted a video on Instagram where you can hear the roar for yourself. It's hard to believe that this sound comes from an electric vehicle.
The Charger EV features the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, a custom system with a 600-watt amplifier built into the car's rear lower section. This system adjusts the volume and sound based on how the car is driven, like during acceleration or deceleration. It mimics the revving of a traditional engine and produces a loud, aggressive noise when the "PowerShot" function is activated, boosting horsepower by 40 for 15 seconds.

Dodge has revealed the prices for the Charger EV: the 670bhp 'Scat Pack' costs $73,190 (AED 268,693), and the 496bhp 'R/T' is priced at about $59,595 (AED 218,138). Both models feature the new 'STLA Large' chassis with dual 250kW electric modules for enhanced performance.
The Scat Pack includes a "Track Package" with adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, a data logger, and upgraded seats. It accelerates to 60 mph in about 3.3 seconds, hits a top speed of 137 mph, and completes a quarter-mile in 11.5 seconds.
For the Charger EV, Dodge offers optional tech and luxury packages. The $4,995 (AED 18,357) Plus Group includes premium trim, larger wheels for the R/T, and a 360-degree camera. The $2,495 (AED 9,163) Sun and Sound Package features an Alpine sound system and a glass roof.

Production of the two-door Charger will begin soon, with the four-door Daytona models set to launch early next year. A gasoline version of the Charger with a new twin-turbo engine is planned for late 2025.
Since the concept stage, the sound has been improved, and although it’s unclear if it will reach the originally claimed volume, Dodge has assured that the production model will deliver “Hellcat levels of sound intensity.”
Dodge is bringing significant innovations to the Charger lineup, with the all-electric models offering cutting-edge features like the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust and various performance packages. As production ramps up for the two-door Charger and four-door Daytona models, Dodge continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle design while maintaining the iconic sound and performance that fans expect. With future releases, including a gasoline-powered version on the horizon, the Charger’s legacy is set to evolve in exciting new directions.
