Al Futtaim Automotive officially announced the appointment of Katib Belkhodja as marketing director for Toyota and Lexus UAE. The executive boasts broader divisional experience at the helm of Al Futtaim’s core business, showcasing its commitment to ensure the prominent position of Toyota and Lexus vehicles in the UAE’s competitive automobile market.

As part of a new role, Katib will lead marketing and communication strategies for both brands, ensuring full-funnel performance, deeper customer insights, and brand strength. He is known for a strategy approach that leverages customer insights, data-driven decision-making, and ambition to scale innovative, AI-powered marketing strategies.
Previously, Belkhodja helped as director of customer centricity for Al Futtaim Automotive, where he was critical for several enterprise-level initiatives, including the rollout of new CRM and lead management systems. He also managed the launch of new brands into the portfolio and pioneered the early adoption of generative AI for marketing and customer experience.
Katib also led the company’s communication strategy for the COP28 partnership, a major milestone in Al Futtaim’s sustainability agenda.
With the sales for Toyota and Lexus vehicles rising in the region, Katib’s leadership will support the brand’s continuous growth and ensure relevance in today’s competitive business environment.
