Renault has unveiled the next-generation Duster, following Dacia's earlier showcase of the SUV. The Renault variant features subtle design modifications aimed at distinguishing it from the Dacia Duster, as seen in the images released by the automaker.

The Renault Duster replaces the Dacia logo on the grille with Renault lettering, boasting a boxy design reminiscent of the Bigster concept. Key exterior features include Y-shaped DRLs, sleek LED headlamps, two-tone alloy wheels, squared wheel arches, rear door handles on the C-pillar, Y-shaped LED taillamps, body cladding, and skid plates on both front and rear bumpers.
The latest Duster is constructed on the CMF-B platform, shared with various Dacia, Nissan, and Renault models.

The cabin of the new Duster resembles that of the Dacia, with the main distinction lying in the exclusive finishing touches. Higher variants offer two digital screens: a 10.1-inch display for infotainment and a 7.0-inch screen for driver information. Both SUVs come equipped with Android Auto, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, an Arkamys 3D sound system, and automatic climate control. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology includes features such as traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, and lane change warning.
The 2024 Renault Duster is anticipated to offer engine choices similar to those available in the Dacia version, including two electrified options: a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine with a 48V starter motor and a 1.6-liter petrol-hybrid engine with two electric motors. Diesel variants will not be offered in any market.

The Duster will come equipped with terrain modes such as Mud/Sand, Auto, Snow, Off-road, and Eco, along with notable departure angles of 36 and 31 degrees and a ground clearance of 217mm. Renault has not yet confirmed the launch of the new Renault Duster in the UAE.
Verdict
The debut of the new Renault Duster brings forth subtle design changes and enhanced features, including terrain modes and impressive departure angles. While its availability in the UAE remains unconfirmed, the SUV promises to offer a compelling driving experience with its versatile capabilities.
