Lamborghini has officially taken the wraps off the new Urus SE Performante, a high-performance evolution of its best-selling SUV and arguably the most extreme hybrid super SUV on the market today. Combining electrified performance with track-focused engineering, the new model delivers more power, sharper handling, and enhanced aerodynamics while maintaining the everyday practicality that made the Urus a global success.
Following the discontinuation of the non-hybrid Urus Performante in 2024, enthusiasts have been waiting for a more aggressive version of the Urus SE—and Lamborghini has delivered in spectacular fashion.
At the heart of the Urus SE Performante is a revised 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with an electric motor and a 25.9 kWh battery pack. The result is a combined output of 812 hp and 1,000 Nm, making it the most powerful Urus ever produced.
| Specification | Lamborghini Urus SE Performante |
|---|---|
| Engine | 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 PHEV |
| Power Output | 812 hp |
| Torque | 1,000 Nm |
| Transmission | 8-Speed Automatic |
| 0-100 km/h | 3.3 Seconds |
| 0-200 km/h | 10.8 Seconds |
| Top Speed | 312 km/h |
| Electric Range | Up to 60 km |
The SUV is quicker than the previous Urus Performante and delivers instant electric torque for even stronger acceleration.
Lamborghini engineers have reworked several key systems to improve handling and driver engagement. A new Rally Mode enhances performance on loose surfaces, while the advanced AURA dual-chamber suspension significantly reduces body roll and improves ride control.
The upgraded braking system now works alongside Lamborghini’s 6D vehicle dynamics platform, delivering faster response times and sharper manoeuvrability. Completing the package is a lightweight Akrapovič performance exhaust, providing the signature Lamborghini soundtrack.
The Urus SE Performante looks every bit as extreme as its performance figures suggest. Carbon-fibre components are used extensively across the bonnet, roof spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, and rear wing to reduce weight and improve airflow.
New aerodynamic elements, including S-Ducts and NACA air channels, increase cooling efficiency and contribute to a claimed 23% increase in downforce. The SUV rides on lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance Pirelli P Zero tyres.
Inside, the cabin receives lightweight Corsa Tex Dinamica upholstery, carbon-fibre trim, and a redesigned steering wheel while retaining the luxury and technology of the standard Urus SE.
With the UAE remaining one of Lamborghini’s most important markets, the new Urus SE Performante is expected to arrive in the Emirates shortly. For buyers seeking supercar performance, hybrid efficiency, and SUV practicality in one package, Lamborghini’s latest creation could be the ultimate performance SUV of 2026.
