Audi has officially unveiled the all-new 2027 Q7, marking the biggest transformation for its flagship family SUV in more than a decade. After 11 years, the third-generation Q7 arrives with a completely redesigned exterior, a high-tech triple-screen cabin, new seating configurations, and an updated range of petrol and diesel engines.
Set to rival premium SUVs such as the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE, the new Audi Q7 combines luxury, technology, and practicality in a package designed for modern family buyers.
The biggest change on the new Audi Q7 is its striking exterior design. Borrowing styling cues from Audi's upcoming flagship Q9 SUV, the latest Q7 adopts a more upright stance and a stronger road presence.
At the front, Audi has introduced a larger honeycomb grille flanked by new segmented LED daytime running lights that create a distinctive eyebrow-like appearance. Vertical Matrix LED headlights and a sportier bumper further modernize the SUV's design.
The side profile remains clean and elegant while showcasing Audi's latest design language. Interestingly, Audi has retained traditional door handles instead of adopting flush-mounted units, partly due to future regulations in certain global markets.
The Q7 rides on standard 20-inch alloy wheels, while buyers can upgrade to larger 23-inch wheels for a more aggressive appearance.
At the rear, the SUV receives connected LED taillights, an illuminated Audi logo, and a redesigned bumper featuring silver accents and dual exhaust outlets.
Inside, the 2027 Audi Q7 receives a complete overhaul focused on technology and comfort.
The dashboard now features Audi's latest triple-screen layout, including a fully digital driver display, a large central infotainment touchscreen, and an optional passenger display for entertainment and navigation functions.
The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while an augmented reality head-up display and 3D navigation maps enhance the driving experience.
Audi has also introduced a new four-spoke steering wheel with haptic controls and relocated the gear selector to the steering column, freeing up additional storage space in the center console.
For the first time, Audi is offering the Q7 with three seating configurations:
The premium cabin is finished with a combination of suede, leather, wood trim, and metallic accents, giving it a more luxurious atmosphere than its predecessor.
One of the standout safety features is Audi's emergency assist system, which can automatically guide the vehicle to a safe roadside position if the driver becomes unresponsive.
Audi will offer the new Q7 with multiple powertrain options across global markets.
Audi has also confirmed a future SQ7 model that will sit at the top of the lineup.
Audi has confirmed that European deliveries will begin in September 2026. While official Middle East launch details have not yet been announced, the new Audi Q7 is expected to arrive in the UAE by late 2026 or early 2027.
Given the strong demand for luxury family SUVs across the Gulf region, the new Q7 is likely to become one of Audi's most important models in the Middle East.
The 2027 Audi Q7 represents the most significant update in the model's history, bringing a fresh design, advanced technology, improved luxury, and greater versatility through new seating options. With powerful petrol and diesel engines, a premium six-seat configuration, and Audi's latest digital features, the new Q7 is well-positioned to compete against the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE when it reaches UAE showrooms.
