The Lotus Emira is already one of its segment's most powerful and performance oriented supercars. However, with the news of making several upgrades in 2026, Lotus Emira, the British luxury sports car manufacturer, has created a buzz among customers who primarily focus on track performance with some daily driving comfort.

In all-new ranges of Emira vehicles, the automaker offers rerouted cooling system lines that enhance flow to the transmission oil cooler and main radiator. The new piping configuration helps reduce the vehicle's overall weight. Loust has improved its eight-speed dual-clutch transmission system to deliver smooth, quick shifts on the drive.
Lotus also offers two new color options in its all-new Emira, EOS Green and Purple Haze Metallic. The V6-powered Emira sees upgrades and is now represented as V6 SE, becoming the model's new flagship iteration. The 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine option is the same and keeps producing 400 horsepower. However, the brand has made some changes in dampers and minor upgrades in wheel alignment for improved handling and drive comfort.

A six-speed manual transmission is standard in the Emira V6 SE. On this upgrade, the brand claimed it offers better shift quality with a new compression mount for the gearbox. It also added that the new configuration will provide more precise gear changes than previous models.
In the entry-level variant, the Emira Turbo, the British luxury sports car manufacturer, has offered a Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4-cylinder turbocharged engine similar to the Turbo SE. This setup also sees an upgraded eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Regarding showroom pricing, the Lotus Emira Turbo price in Europe starts from 79500 euros (AED 332,500), whereas the V6 SE version costs 96500 euros (AED 403,900). In Europe, the automaker has opened bookings for the 2026 Lotus Emira.
However, there is no update regarding when Lotus will introduce its updated Emira in the UAE. If we consider UAE customers' passion for luxury and high-performance cars, it is anticipated that the brand will release the updated version of the Emira by the end of this year or early next year.
