Land Rover has revealed a new special edition Defender SUV called Trophy Edition, celebrating its relationship with classic Camel Trophy vehicles. The exclusive version of Defender features cutting-edge features, new off-road accessories, and two unique paint colors, offering rugged and adventure-ready profiles. While it brings a years-old off-roading legacy, the new model has been tuned to deliver exceptional performance in challenging off-road terrains, including tackling desert trails in Australia, navigating through deep waters in the Southeast Pacific Islands, or making new paths in the Amazon of Brazil.

Exterior Design

The retro paint scheme across the exterior is one of the standout features of the newly launched Defender 110 Trophy Edition. It comes with a Deep Sandglow Yellow color scheme, representing Land Rover's participation in tough international Trophy-style events. Another color option, Keswick Green, is also available, which pays tribute to the United Kingdom's rural areas and outdoor adventure.

The luxury SUV features a black contrast finish on the roof, bonnet, wheel arches, front and rear scuff plates, and side cladding. There are Trophy decals on the bonnet and C-pillar for a more sporty and premium appearance. Land Rover has offered upgraded 20-inch gloss-black alloy wheels with all-terrain tires.

Engine Performance

The Trophy Edition Land Rover Defender has illuminated sill plates and new Ebony Windsor leather seats. The interior has Trophy branding for a more exclusive and elite experience. The luxury car brand has ensured the dashboard's exposed crossbeam matches the exterior paint color and gets laser-etched end caps with Trophy branding.

Off-Road Accessories

To make it even more off-road friendly, Land Rover has equipped a special edition of the Defender 110 SUV with an Expedition Roof Rack that creates additional space to carry more luggage on long adventure trips. Additionally, it has a Black Deployable Roof Ladder to easily load or unload the items stored on the roof.

A Black Side-Mounted Gear Carrier offers more roofs for wet, muddy, or sandy gear. Additional accessories include Front and Rear Classic Mud Flaps for protection against off-road obstacles and a Raised Air Intake to filter dust and keep the engine running smoothly.

Price & Debut

Land Rover has confirmed that the Defender 110 Trophy Edition will be officially debuting at the Goodwood Festival of Speed between July 10 to 13. The showroom price of Defender 110 Trophy Edition has already been announced, and it's £89,810 (Approx AED 449,000).

Previously, Land Rover launched a limited-run Defender Classic in 2021. The exclusive edition was limited to only 25 units and drew inspiration from the Camel Trophy, comprising interesting graphics and modifications to reflect the expeditions. Interestingly, the variant was completely sold out in just three days, and the Luxury car brand had to reveal a second batch of 25 more units by the end of that year.
