Tesla has officially launched a new variant of its best-selling sports electric sedan, Model 3, in the UAE. The new variant is called Tesla Model 3 Long Range Rear Wheel Drive and promises to offer 703 km of WLTP-rated range, making it the longest-range Model 3 ever produced by the company.

Priced from AED 164,990, the new Model 3 Long Range RWD is also claimed to be the most energy-efficient Tesla car to date, consuming only 12.5kWh per 100 km of drive. Tesla also stated that, currently available in the UAE, the 2025 Model 3 Long Range RWD has a segment-leading price-to-range ratio.
According to Tesla, the high efficiency is the outcome of continuous engineering improvements in drive train and battery technology. To explain the performance efficiency in simple terms, it states that the Model 3 LR RWD consumes the same amount of energy to drive a single kilometer as it takes to microwave a frozen meal.
The newly introduced variant has been positioned above the standard Model 3 RWD, which is available for AED 154,990 and delivers better range without requiring the opt for a higher-priced dual-motor performance variant. Similar to other Tesla cars in the UAE, the new variant comes with a 9-speaker Tesla-designed premium audio system, ventilated front seats, heated front and rear seats, an 8-inch rear screen for media and climate control, 360-degree acoustic glass, and upgraded suspension bushings and cabin insulation as standard features.
Inside the cabin is a minimalist design and high-quality materials offering a quieter interior with superior riding comfort while still maintaining sporty handling traits. Now the rear passengers have a dedicated screen to control entertainment and climate settings.
The Tesla Model 3 Long Range RWD is specifically designed for those requiring a seamless long-distance driving experience around the UAE, making it an ideal option for road-trippers, commuters, and families.
As per the available information, the deliveries for the new Model 3 Long Range Rear Wheel Drive variant will start in September 2025, while the delivery for the standard Model 3 RWD is available immediately.
