The 2026 Lexus LC 500 Convertible has returned with subtle yet refined enhancements, making it one of the most luxurious open-top grand tourers on the global market. Lexus, a Japanese-based luxury car manufacturer and the luxury division of Toyota, has unveiled the limited-edition Inspiration Series of the LC 500 Convertible.

This exclusive edition is limited to 350 units for the North American market and features several distinctive elements that set it apart from the standard model. For instance, it features a new Wind exterior paint with a Brown and Silver soft top, and a nicely crafted interior clad in Saddle Tan and White semi-aniline leather. This unique styling is further enhanced with blacked-out exterior elements and custom badging on the center console. It is also equipped with luxury features, including Climate Concierge with upper body heating, a Mark Levinson sound system, a head-up display, and exclusive 21-inch forged alloy wheels.
The newly revealed Lexus LC 500 Convertible Inspiration Series also benefits from the Lexus Bespoke Build Program, which allows customers to personalize their vehicles with several customization options, including trim, colors, wheels, spoilers, and interior features. For each exclusive model, a unique interior badge and certificate of authenticity are provided, signed by Chief Engineer Yasushi Muto.
For cabin space, several color options are available, including Black, Toasted Caramel, and Rioja Red, as well as the exclusive Inspiration Series combination of Saddle Tan and White. Across the interior, premium materials are used, including MODURE leatherette and climate-conscious design.
Under the hood, the LC 500 Convertible gets a 5.0-liter V8 engine capable of delivering 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 10-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission. The LC 500 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of 270 km/h.
The adaptive suspension system now features 650 distinct damping settings to enhance comfort and handling. The four-layer soft top opens in just 15 seconds at a speed of 50 km/h, utilizing a hydraulic mechanism designed to ensure quiet and seamless operation. The specifically designed polycarbonate wind deflector and sound-absorbing materials make the open-air driving feel silent and refined. This convertible luxury car also features climate-adaptive HVAC controls.
On the tech front, it gets the Lexus Interface system and a 12.3-inch touchscreen, giving access to voice commands, navigation, streaming, and OTA updates. There are also Dual Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi hotspot features available. For maximum comfort and a seamless driving experience, Lexus offers a Remote Connect feature that enables drivers to control functions such as remote start and door lock through the Lexus app.
The Lexus 500 Convertible Inspiration Series also features several safety systems, including Lexus Safety System Plus 2.5, as standard in all trims. These systems include features such as Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, All-speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist.
