The Mercedes-Benz 280 SL, nicknamed the “Pagoda” for its unique hardtop shape, belongs to the W113 series, which followed the famous 300 SL Gullwing and 190 SL. Introduced in 1967, the 280 SL replaced the 230 SL and was produced until 1971, with 23,885 units made. The "280" in its name comes from its 2.8-liter engine.

The model we reviewed has only 53,086 km on the odometer. It has a white exterior with a dark blue hardtop, soft top, and hubcaps. The interior is also finished in dark blue upholstery to match the exterior.
