The Nissan Z and the Toyota Supra are two of the best Japanese sports cars with a devoted global following. These high-performance vehicles provide thrilling driving, dependable operation, and outstanding performance. Nissan Z and Toyota Supra are up for debate in this week's DubiCompare.
Toyota originally introduced the Supra in 1978. The Supra is a more potent version of the company's Celica sedan. After collaborating with BMW for five generations, Toyota has created the newest sports car available in the United Arab Emirates.
The *Nissan Z's story* started in 1969 when the 240Z, the first generation model, was introduced. Nissan's seventh-generation sports, which combined cutting-edge technology with a 240Z-inspired look, signaled a return to the Z series' origins in 2022.

| Dimensions | Supra | Z |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 4,379mm | 4,380mm |
| Width | 1,854mm | 1,845mm |
| Height | 1,294mm | 1,315mm |
| Wheelbase | 2,470mm | 2,550mm |
| Fuel Tank Capacity | 52L | 62L |
| Boot Space | 290L | 195L |
| Kerb Weight | 1,629 KG | 1,680 KG |

The inside room of both cars is comparable in terms of total size and weight. These sports cars are designed to be small to offer an exciting driving experience. Additionally, they are incredibly light, allowing businesses to extract the majority
of their machines without requiring a hefty engine.

|---|---|---|
| Lights | LED | LED |
| Wheels | 19-inch | 19-inch |
| Brake Calipers | Red | Red |

The Toyota Supra's strong lines and a few BMW elements can be seen throughout the car's exterior appearance. Conversely, the outside of the Nissan Z appears more sleek and flowing. Still, both are two-seater sports vehicles with a low profile. The Z will appear more attractive than the Supra over time.

The Japanese, true to form, have fitted both cars with high-quality technology. These, though, are not the newest on the market; automobiles from other brands have them. The sporty seats, suede upholstery, and contrast stitching in the Nissan Z's interior may make it marginally more appealing to enthusiasts. The owner can easily customize these cars to suit their tastes.

Both the Z and the Supra use 3.0-liter gasoline engines in the UAE. However, due to a higher power-to-weight ratio, the Z performs marginally better. Additionally, aficionados across the nation are drawn to Toyota and Nissan's manual transmission versions of their respective vehicles.
Both Nissan and Toyota have a performance division tucked away in their internal structures.
For a little extra kick, the Supra receives the Gazoo Racing (GR) treatment. In a similar vein, the Z receives Nissan's NISMO treatment to provide a more aggressive take on the sports vehicle. Nevertheless, the UAE does not officially have access to either of these performance versions.
| Safety Features | Supra | Z |
|---|---|---|
| Airbags | 6 | 6 |
| Parking Sensors | Front & Rear | Front & Rear |
| Traction Control | Yes | Yes |
| ADAS | Yes | Yes |
Both the Nissan Z and the Toyota Supra have comparable safety nets. But compared to the Supra, which has fewer active safety systems, the Z has more sophisticated driver assistance.
The official Toyota UAE website lists four trim levels for the Supra, with the transmission and upholstery being the primary differences between them. The new Supra has a price range of AED 214,000 to AED 219,000.
Both the Supra and Z offer a comprehensive range of safety features, ensuring the well-being of occupants on the road. With six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, traction control, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), drivers can feel confident and secure behind the wheel of either vehicle. Whether cruising on highways or navigating city streets, these safety features contribute to a safer driving experience for all.
